Crews respond to helicopter crash at PG&E facility in Livermore, autho…

LIVERMORE, Calif. (KGO) — Crews are responding to a helicopter crash in Livermore that injured two people, authorities say.

It happened at a PG&E training facility around 10a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Police say two people were on board and consistent injuries. Both victims were taken to the hospital.

No fatalities have been reported.

Firefighters say one person was inside the helicopter and had to use tools to get the person out.

Officials say the crash area hosts a lot of training exercises, but its unclear if this was part of a training exercise.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board will probe the crash.
